Frank John Glass is an Indian Navajo. Born on October 10, 1911 in Phoenix in Arizona. Died on the Field of Honor on February 26, 1945 in Germany. As everything the young men of the environment of the 30s ', Frank was member of Alleghny Mountain Association of the Amateur Athletic Union (in Pennsilvanie) and made of the boxing where he had many victories.
In 1934 in Cleveland in Ohio, Frank wife Jewel Fay Williams, now died. They had a son, born Laurence Carter Glass on May 20, 1935 which served in Korea and Vietnam but which is now pensioned off by the army. Frank joined the Army of United States on October 11, 1943. The entrainement of base was made to the Camp Gordon (Maintaining Strong Gordon), in Georgia and in the Day J, on June 6, 1944, it made did party of the company E of the 16-th Battalion of Infantry of the 1-st US Division and was so in one of the first six barges of landing which touched the Norman beaches. through France, Belgium and Germany (Battle of the Bulge). He was hurt damaged in the head and, following his wounds, he died on February 26, 1945.
